A key policy issue for the Forum is the Universal Charitable Deduction.
Text of The Charitable Act, introduced by Senators James Lankford (R-OK) and Chris Coons (D-DE).
The convening of the 118th Congress provides the Forum with an opportunity to build on a renewed focus of its public policy work over the next two years. To that end, the Forum has developed six public policy principles that will guide our work during that time.

On March 7, a bi-partisan group of 11 members of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ways and Means signed a letter regarding donor-advised funds. In a "Dear Colleague" letter to their fellow lawmakers, the members express concerns about proposals that would restrict DAFs, as well as private foundations, such as the ACE Act, S. 1981/H.R. 6595.
