Every year we provide a 2-sided half-page Mid Year Memo to Members – a quick snapshot of programming, initiatives, member services, etc. that we have provided to our members from January to July. The Memo is a reminder to members of our many programs and services, and we also use it as a marketing piece for prospects during the year. So the piece has many functions and we get a lot of use out it. Does anyone else do something like this and if so would you share with us – we might want to change up the format a bit and your samples can provide some additional ideas and inspiration. Here are examples of our mid-year memos from 2010 and 2011.

I would love to see your memo. We have not done this but I want to for this year after our board meeting June 20 which means I have some work to do!
What we have done is sent something with a June 1 dues mailing to about half our members as we have a WINTER and SUMMER dues cycle. I have attached that document (PDF).

Yes, Theresa, OGF started doing this a few years ago and I’m in the midst of creating ours now, although we do it purely as an email/digital, not printing it. I’ll send it along separately.

We usually do a mid- and end-of-year report similar to what you describe. Attached is our 2011 Year in Review (PDF) – Not sure if we’re doing a mid-year report in 2012 with everything else that’s going on.
