The Council on Foundations, the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, and ACR are pleased to present the Foundations on the Hill (FOTH) stipend fund. Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP) is excited to announce their collaboration on FOTH 2013, March 19–20, where EPIP will serve as the Next Gen Adviser and supporter of the FOTH stipend program. The FOTH stipend fund offers assistance to foundations across the country, and is intended to promote the participation of foundation representatives at FOTH.

What the Stipend Will Cover

The cost of registration for FOTH is waived for stipend recipients. The stipend fund covers travel (ground and air) and hotel costs associated with the event. Awardees will receive up to $1,200 to attend the two-day event, which includes training sessions and meetings with members of Congress. Additionally, the recipient's regional association receives a $300 award to continue public policy and advocacy efforts on the ground.

Responsibilities of the Stipend Recipient

Each applicant must complete the application and email it, along with additional application materials as necessary to Angela Davis-Glave or fax to 703-879-0887. All applications and materials must be submitted by Friday, December 7, 2012. Recipients of the FOTH stipend fund are required to assume all costs associated with the event up front. You will be reimbursed after all receipts are submitted. Stipend award recipients will be notified by Friday, January 25, 2013.
