Evaluation can provide critically useful information for making strategic decisions.  Yet, understanding what evaluation is, how it can contribute to the organization’s health and effectiveness, and how it can be accomplished efficiently are not frequently hot topics of conversation with organization trustees.

With funding and support from The James Irvine Foundation, FSG Social Impact Advisors interviewed dozens of foundation trustees, CEOs and evaluation experts to develop a set of tools and resources designed to help leaders answer the following questions: How do foundation trustees use evaluation?  What types of evaluation information are most helpful to trustees?  How can evaluation results help them make decisions?

Join FSG and a panel of foundation trustees on Tuesday, February 2 at 2 pm EST for a discussion on how evaluation can better serve trustee needs. We will provide real-life examples of evaluation tools and techniques that provide trustees with actionable knowledge that will support your organization’s mission.
