The role and responsibilities of a grantmaker vary depending on the size, structure and assets of a foundation. However, there are similar skill sets grantmakers need to perform their jobs successfully. The Essential Skills and Strategies (ESS) for Grantmakers Workshops provide grantmakers with comprehensive instruction to effectively solicit and evaluate proposals; make wise funding recommendations; manage grants from approval to closure; leverage funding through partnerships; implement foundation law and ethics; utilize funding power for common good and, research opportunities for on-going professional development and networking in the field.

Registration Fee: $50 for members and $75 for nonmembers
