The Youth Philanthropy Initiative of Indiana (YPII) was formed in 2001 as a collaborative network of nonprofits and foundations with a shared belief that through active engagement, youth will develop habits of giving and serving, become dynamic young leaders and become fully engaged as citizens in their communities. A signature program of the Indiana Grantmakers Alliance, YPII engages youth in philanthropy by providing trainings, resources, and best practices to nonprofits and foundations. YPII's mission is to grow lifelong philanthropists who give their time, talent, and treasure for the common good.
Recognizing a need for a more youth and family-focused resource, YPII developed Phil and His Family's Adventures in Giving. This imaginative and creative resource "Gift Box" is designed to help families and children incorporate the spirit of generosity into their everyday lives. Through characters, stories, and activities, philanthropy comes to life in a way that is fun and understandable. Please join us for this informative webinar on Thursday, November 29 at 2 pm ET that will highlight ways you can use this exciting new resource within your regional associations.
