Host a Giving Circle
Organizations, such as community foundations, start, host, or support giving circles for a variety of reasons. Some find that giving circles are a good way to raise the visibility of the organization in the community. Others value the opportunity to introduce donors to philanthropy using this shared giving model. Relationships between giving circles and host organizations take effort, but they offer significant rewards to both sides.
Institutions can receive the following benefits by hosting a giving circle:
- Further engaging existing donors
- Bringing new donors to the organization
- Engaging donors in a new and different way
- Establishing a new channel to provide more in-depth information to donors
- Providing a vehicle for donors to learn more about the impact of philanthropy
Hosts provide benefits to giving circles, too.
