Accountability Educational Resources
The first goal of the Forum's Building Grantmaker Effectiveness and Accountability initiative is to enable regional associations to provide grantmakers with necessary educational resources to assist them in dealing with the critical issues surrounding accountability and effectiveness.
To guide our work around this goal, we produced an educational resources framework and an inventory of existing accountability and effectiveness resources that have been created by regional associations and colleague organizations. We then established the following priority issue areas: advocacy, compensation, conflict of interest, self-dealing, the 990-PF, board governance, administrative expenses, payout, and communications.
