Foundations on the Hill
Foundations on the Hill, an annual event jointly hosted by the Council on Foundations and the Forum, is designed to inform members of Congress about the important role foundations play in improving communities across the country and around the world. Foundation trustees and staff work with their regional association to schedule meetings on Capital Hill to personally discuss their work with members of Congress. The partnership effectively combines the Council's expertise on legal and legislative matters with the regional associations' knowledge of local philanthropy and the leverage they bring as local constituents.
