Knowledge Management

The Forum and its regional association partners developed a Web-based Knowledge Management (KM) system that consists of a robust Content Management System (CMS), a centralized Knowledgebase, and an integrated Association Management System (AMS).

The KM system moves beyond the development of an easily searchable Web site to the creation of a dynamic resource that:

  • builds an interactive learning community
  • fosters knowledge exchange between “established” and “new” philanthropy
  • boosts organizational capacity of system partners
  • mobilizes philanthropic knowledge across the country

Our purpose is to share underused resources developed from on-the-ground practitioners, multiply the number of tools at their disposal, and magnify impact in their regions and local communities.
