The Forum and its regional association partners developed a web-based Knowledge Management (KM) system that consists of a robust Content Management System (CMS), a centralized Knowledgebase, and an integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
The KM system moves beyond the development of an easily searchable website to the creation of a dynamic resource that:
- builds an interactive learning community
- fosters knowledge exchange between “established” and “new” philanthropy
- boosts organizational capacity of system partners
- mobilizes philanthropic knowledge across the country
Our purpose is to share underused resources developed from on-the-ground practitioners, multiply the number of tools at their disposal, and magnify impact in their regions and local communities.
Across 2013, the Forum and participating regional associations will be launching new sites on an upgraded KM Platform built on an integrated Drupal-Salesforce solution.
