  • 2017 Forum Annual Conference

    July 17-19, 2017 | San Francisco, CA

Join us for #ForumCon17, the nation’s largest gathering of the CEOs and staffs of philanthropy-serving organizations (PSOs) in the field.

  • Policy Update:

    Johnson Amendment

The Forum supports the continued full enforcement of the "Johnson Amendment" that prohibits 501(c)(3) charitable organizations from endorsing, opposing or contributing to political candidates and engaging in partisan campaign activities. We are troubled by recent proposals in Washington to weaken or repeal this longstanding protection in the federal tax code.

  • Join the New Forum Network:

    Where Philanthropy’s Infrastructure Comes Together

The Forum is excited to invite national philanthropy-serving organizations (PSOs) to join our expanding network of regional and national PSOs working to advance, inform and support philanthropy. Join now to build stronger relationships with your peers, gain additional support for your work and have a stronger collective voice.

  • CENSUS 2020: Why an Accurate Count Matters to Philanthropy

The Forum is excited to begin work on a two-year project to engage regional funders in ensuring a more thorough and accurate census count in 2020 supported by funding from the The Joyce Foundation.

  • Community Foundation Boot Camp - Boston, MA

    Registration Now Open!

The two-day Community Foundation Boot Camp program offers a comprehensive overview of the structure and operations of a community foundation (CF). It is an ideal in-depth introduction to community foundations for new CF staff, CF board members, or other CF staff looking for a good refresher.

The Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers is a national network that facilitates effective philanthropy to strengthen communities and improve lives throughout the United States.

With deep regional roots and a broad nationwide reach, the Forum Network represents more than 7,000 primarily philanthropic organizations - the largest network serving philanthropy in America.
